This was a great visit. My experience at MIVC has been absolutely top notch. Everyone is very pleasant from the front desk, to the providers, to the person who did my ultrasound. The doctor explained everything to me very thoroughly and seems to be one of the sharpest people in the field.

I had gone to several doctors and medical institutions just in the US. But in the caribbean, and they could not correctly diagnose my condition. I was watching television one day and saw the advertisement of MIVC, took their information and gave them a call, sent an email, and they responded in a timely manner. I got an appointment, and the rest is history. I had leaky veins, and the procedure to correct was done, and I have to say thanks to the doctor and his team.... When my senior supervisor saw the difference at work, she asked, and I gave her the information to contact them. I would highly recommend MIVC to anyone. Never mind the negative comments, keep doing what God gave you the talent/gift to do.

I'm tired of people trying to smear this black doctor. I've been a long time patient of MIVC for over 8 years, and I have witnessed firsthand the envy and hate towards this black practice. Dr. Dormu was the only one who was able to diagnose my condition when other doctors just stereotyped me. He's saved multiple members of my family, as well as friends, one of whom was at risk of losing their leg. I've been to other institutions and doctors that aren't nearly as passionate or understanding, especially towards people of color. I grew up in the DMV and to have one of our own take on the burden and challenge of helping to reduce the rate of death and limb loss in the black community is something that should be praised.

I was referred by my podiatrist. Had leg discoloring after having a liver transplant some 15 years ago. Wasn't told that I should have my legs looked at for leaking veins. Went to the center Doctor knew right away what was going on and told me that I needed to have procedures done to correct the damage that was long overdue. I was set up appointments for the procedure procedure. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff from the reception desk to the surgeon.

I highly recommend Dr. Dormu and his entire practice. Amazing physician and entire staff are so wonderful. The building is so luxurious and doesn't even feel like a medical center. Such a convenient location right off the highway. There is never any wait time when going in for appointments. He explains everything extremely carefully and in a way anyone can understand. Results are great. Cannot recommend him enough.
